TEACHING METHODS

I've noticed that when my cooperating teacher enters the room, she starts the meeting by creating a friendly atmosphere.

She wears her gorgeous smile and asks the students how they've been.

While teaching, she uses bahasa Indonesia even when Cambridge Mathematics' medium is in bahasa English.

Lastly, she uses both deductive and inductive method, as well as discovery approach - depending on the topic being discussed.

LEARNING MATERIALS

and

SOURCES OF LEARNING

My cooperating teacher use teaching aid such as task cards, worksheets, and the Cambridge checkpoint module as she discusses the lesson.

The students are able to grasp the lessons because the module has many examples, as well as exercises for them to try.

Also, the module elaborates the lessons well, so that it can be a tool for them to study even without their teacher.

Using these materials, the students are able to accomplish and attain the key objectives set for each lesson.

The assessment tool that they use for Cambridge Mathematics is usually the exam on the Cambridge Checkpoint Module.

For me, it is a good assessment tool such that what has been taught - all in the book - shall also be covered in the exam.
