"You'll never know until you do."

Day 03: January 29, 2019
Today, Ms. Hani does not have a schedule for the lower secondary – Cambridge Mathematics. So, we went with Ms. Dian to her grade 8 class, the same grade 8 class which Ms. Hani also teaches. The only difference is that today, we will be observing National Matematika, where they use Bahasa Indonesia as the medium of instruction and context.

I have this quote for today: Sometimes, it’s not always about how hard the circumstance was, it was how you found the motivation to get back up once you’ve fallen.

It was a little difficult for me today to observe and understand. Not just because of the language difference, but because the delivery was fast – of course, I should be the one to adjust hehe.
It was a little hard for me to grasp the terms, good thing I had my dictionary with me.
At the end of that class, I was able to list down some terms as well.

It was exciting and fun to try to understand them through the development of the lesson. Another factor was that, the students were really interactive and cooperative with the activities.
I just got more excited to teach them already!
